Asish Mandoi is a highly motivated and skilled 3rd-year undergraduate student at IIT Kanpur, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. With over 3 years of programming experience, Asish has participated in various programming challenges, including Google Kickstart, Facebook Hackercup, and IBM's Quantum Challenges. He has worked on several exciting technologies, including his most recent project, the backend development of IITK Coin, a centralized pseudo currency system built using Golang and deployed on DockerHub. Apart from his programming skills, Asish is also fascinated by the field of Quantum Computing, a fast-growing and promising field that performs computations fundamentally differently from the way they have been performed till now. He is currently involved in a few research projects related to solving optimization problems using Quantum Computing. As a QResearch Student at QWorld and Mentee at Quantum Open Source Foundation, Asish is continuously exploring fascinating domains in Science and Engineering, as well as technologies that can potentially change how we live. Currently, Asish is working as a Software Engineer Intern at Citrix, where he is gaining valuable experience in the field of software development. Previously, he has worked as a Student Researcher at QWorld, where he contributed to a comprehensive report focused on practical implementations of various techniques to solve the Vehicle Routing Problem. He has also carried out experiments on D-Wave's quantum annealers and is currently preparing presentations for popular talks and aiming to get their work published in popular journals. Asish's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, Class XII from MBS Public School, Bhubaneswar, and Class X from DAV Public School, Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar. With a tech stack that includes Software Engineering, Backend Development, Research Science, and Golang, Asish has relevant experience of 0.35 years.
