Asok also has onsite work experience in some of the largest Security Operations Centres (SOC) of three national banks in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and India, as well as stock exchanges and telecom companies worldwide. Asok specializes in information security consulting in the banking and finance industry and has expertise in anti-phishing techniques, Security Information Event Management (SIEM) tools such as HP ArcSight, IBM QRadar, and RSA Envision. He has also worked with ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, Incident Handling, Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing. Currently, Asok is working at Cargill as a Senior SOC Analyst, where he conducts thorough investigations of security events generated by detection mechanisms such as SIEM, EDR, Email, Cloud, among others. In his previous roles, he has worked as a Senior Tech Lead at Happiest Minds, where he was responsible for incident management for clients such as Sony and Embassy TechVillage, Bangalore. He has also worked at Paladion Networks as a Senior Team Lead SOC Services - Level 3. Asok holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems Security from Sheffield Hallam University, where he graduated in 2013.
