Asutosh Panda is a software craftsman with a passion for DevOps and a desire to become a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). With over 2 years of relevant experience, he has developed a strong expertise in several areas, including Ansible, Linux OS and networking concepts, Azure DevOps, Linux scripting, SCM tools (SVN, GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab). Currently working as a DevOps Engineer at TCS, Asutosh has been involved in several challenging projects, such as the migration of over 2500 repositories from different SCM tools to GitHub. He has also suggested and implemented solutions to various issues, such as the use of Git LFS for larger files and the elimination of the ".git" folder that was causing issues and bringing down 5 instances. Asutosh has also created automation scripts that can migrate multiple repositories from BitBucket, SVN, and GitLab to GitHub, saving a significant amount of time. Asutosh's education background includes a Master of Computer Applications from Sastra University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Saraswati Degree Vidya Mandir. During his training at TCS, he gained knowledge in various technologies, including web development, DevOps, machine learning, and AR/VR. Asutosh is always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow, and he is particularly interested in contributing more to the SRE community. He is a quick learner and has a strong work ethic, making him a valuable asset to any team.
