Athira V S is a skilled Software Engineer and Rajya Puraskar awardee with over a year of experience in automated and manual testing at Cavium Networks. She has a strong aptitude for learning new concepts and programming languages, and is passionate about delivering quality work with attention to detail. Currently working as an Engineer at Cavium Networks, Athira has worked on firmware validation of Thunder X2 SoC following Agile process. She has experience in manual testing of the ENV boot variables, and has designed and implemented a framework in Python for testing these variables, which has increased efficiency by over 70%. Athira is responsible for maintaining quality assurance of the NVDIMM module of ThunderX2 SoC, and has identified and created test cases and test plans from feature descriptions of NVDIMM. She reports bugs to the development team using JIRA, and actively participates in code review of testing other modules of ThunderX2. She works closely and effectively with geographically distributed teams. Athira holds a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut, and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam.
