Atul Acharya is a seasoned Product Leader with over 21 years of experience in the field of Applied AI, ML, Autonomous Systems, Mobile, and Platforms. Currently, he is serving as the Director of Autonomous Vehicles - Strategy & Ops at a3ventures lab / aaa-ncnu, where he is responsible for the testing, validation, and research of autonomous vehicles. Atul is also contributing to the WEF Automated Vehicles Safe Drive Initiative as a Steering Committee member and is a part of the UL 4600 - AV Safety task groups as a Contributor. He is also a member of the SAE On-Road Automated Driving (ORAD) Committee, where he is working on Metrics and Safety Principles. In the past, Atul has worked as an AI Product Management Fellow at Insight Data Science, where he gained expertise in AI and PM. He has also co-founded Modulus Labs, where he worked as an early-stage product management consultant and advisor with a focus on Mobile apps/experiences, Deep Learning, and Autonomous vehicles. Atul's educational background is equally impressive, with an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Management - Innovation, GM, and Finance. He also holds a B.Tech (with Honors) in Electronics and Communications Engg. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University. He has completed several specializations in Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning from Coursera, Udacity, and the University of Washington. Atul's technical expertise includes AI, ML, Mobile, product management, test, Research Scientist, Deep Learning, and iOS.
