Atul Avhad is a highly skilled Master's in CS student at Georgia Tech with a specialization in Computing Systems. With a primary interest in Distributed Database Systems and the surrounding storage technologies, he is also passionate about designing High-Performance APIs, large-scale data batch/stream processors, Message Queues, and Workflow Orchestrators. With over three years of experience in building and deploying scalable and robust distributed applications, Atul has worked at Druva and Morgan Stanley before pursuing his Master's degree. He is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia Tech, instructing over 475 undergraduate students in the analysis of algorithms based on dynamic programming, divide and conquer methodology, graphs, and NP-completeness. He is also responsible for holding office hours, making and grading homework & exams, and creating online instructional content. Atul is set to graduate in May 2023 and is looking for full-time roles in the Platform, Infrastructure, Data Engineering, and Storage teams of organizations where he can work on systems that impact millions. He is well-versed in various tech stacks, including Research Scientist, Data Engineering, Software Engineer, and Infra. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Atul has a strong educational background.
