Atul Bagga is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft with over 10 years of experience in endpoint security products and cloud backend services. He is passionate about endpoint security, ethical hacking, backend development and architecture, and open-source development. His biggest motivation is watching people use the code he writes to get something done, which brings him immense joy and keeps him going. Atul began his career as an Associate Software Engineer at Symantec, where he worked on PGP Whole Disk Encryption and Symantec Endpoint Encryption Full Disk products as part of the Encryption Team. He also worked on device drivers, Windows applications, and preboot on BIOS and UEFI. He handled customer escalations and provided solutions to their problems. Later, he was promoted to the position of Software Engineer, where he worked on new features on UEFI preboot, Windows crash dump analysis, and driver issues. Currently, Atul is an intern at Pitney Bowes, where he is gaining experience in the latest technologies and software development methodologies. He has a degree in Integrated Dual Degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Atul is proficient in several technologies, including Azure, backend development, search, AI, DevOps, ML, Python, and Elastic Search. He has relevant experience of 11.79 years and is always eager to learn new things. Atul is a team player and has excellent communication skills, making him a valuable asset to any team he works with.
