Atul Kumar is a dynamic IT professional with over 14 years of experience in application production support, infrastructure support, and automation of web-based solutions for leading banks and organizations in the finance, banking, IB, and retail domains. He has performed various roles such as change and release manager, incident manager, site reliability engineer, and others. Currently, he is serving as an assistant vice president at Deutsche Bank Group in the SRE Squad - Data Tribe, where he is responsible for running mission-critical global production support for HSBC Digital Banking, serving customers throughout the world. Atul has a good understanding and working knowledge of Splunk and Appdynamics alerting and monitoring tools. He also has exposure and working experience in all phases of SDLC like requirements definition, analysis & design, development, integration, testing, and deployment. He is a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) and ITIL certified. He has hands-on experience with various tools such as Splunk, AppDynamic, ServiceNow, Global Service Desk (GSD), DevOps/CICD: Jenkins, GIT, Confluence, JIRA, Pivotal Cloud Foundey (Pcf), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). Prior to Deutsche Bank, Atul worked as a team lead at HSBC, where he managed mission-critical application production support for digital banking and mortgages customers throughout the globe. He was also responsible for application level cloud support and L3 level code enhancement and fixes. Before that, he worked as a technical lead at Sears, where he managed application production support activities for multiple critical applications for tracking sales and logistics. Maintenance activities also involved code enhancement and L3 level code support. Atul holds a B.Tech degree in Information Technology from Uttar Pradesh Technical University Lucknow. He also holds an intermediate degree from Sunbeam English School and a high school degree from W.H.Smith School. His tech stack includes SRE, test, Java, Jenkins, DevOps, integration, web, infra, and senior software engineer. With 14.36 years of relevant experience, Atul is a seasoned IT professional with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and services to clients.
