Atul Poddar is a highly accomplished Category Head with over 12 years of experience in the FMCG industry, ranging from marketing to sales to eCommerce. He holds an MBA from IIM Indore and has been associated with some of the biggest names in the industry. Currently, he works with REZ, a key reseller on Amazon, where he is responsible for the Kitchen category sales and P&L. In this role, Atul manages a business of 500Mn USD and partnerships with 100+ of the biggest brands in the Kitchen appliances space, including Philips, Usha, Havells, and Prestige. Prior to his current role, Atul spent 2.5 years at Udaan in category and central business intelligence roles. He also spent 8+ years at Wipro in various roles such as eCommerce, brand marketing, and market research + BI. At Udaan, Atul played a key role in designing the range of SKUs that Udaan FMCG would carry across all 4 categories and worked as a business liaison on central tech projects that would help improve inward side challenges on Udaan. As a Category Manager at Udaan, Atul managed and scaled the business of top FMCG - PC businesses, maintaining business partnerships across key brands from HUL, P&G, Godrej, RB to Cholayil and Karnataka Soaps. Atul's education history includes a PGDM in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, and a degree in Metallurgy and Materials from the National Institute of Technology, Karnataka. He is also fluent in French and holds a marketing degree from Montpellier Business School. Atul is a Research Scientist with a relevant experience of 12.79 years. He is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering results and driving growth in the FMCG industry.
