Audrey Brooke is a product-focused software engineer with a passion for building user-centric products. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Business Administration from the University of Southern California, Audrey has gained extensive experience in full-stack development, including app, web, and back-end development. She has also explored machine learning and has received the AWS Associate Developer Certification in 2018 while completing her first software engineering internship. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Flexport, Audrey is responsible for full-stack development on internal and external finance tools. She has helped build a reliable, performant, easy-to-use, and intuitive invoicing product using Ruby on Rails and React. She has also built insightful monitoring dashboards using Datadog to automatically alert on system and product metrics. Audrey's leadership experience includes serving as the President of the USC Women's Club Volleyball team, where she managed a budget of over $50,000, recruited players, organized facilities, planned travel, hired coaches, worked with the university, and planned fundraising events that brought in over $9,000 for the team. She has also served as the Fundraising Chair for the same team, where she organized fundraising events, contacted donors, and kept track of finances. Audrey has ranked 9th in the nation and practiced with 12 teammates twice a week while traveling to other universities for tournaments throughout the school year. With 2.86 years of relevant experience, Audrey is a collaborative and cross-functional team player who believes in doing work with a tangible human impact. She is proficient in Ruby, AWS, backend development, machine learning, web development, and software engineering. Audrey is always looking to expand her skill set and take on new challenges.
