Aveek B. is a dynamic and experienced developer relations professional with a strong background in print and scan drivers. He has a passion for open source and is an enthusiastic people gardener and leader. With over 16 years of relevant experience, Aveek has a proven track record of successful delivery, partnering, and customer service. Currently serving as a Community Ambassador for the Zephyr Project, Aveek is responsible for managing and growing the open source community around the project. He is also an IoT enthusiast and Zephyr Ambassador, working to promote the use of Zephyr in the IoT space. Prior to his current role, Aveek held several positions at Lexmark, including Product Owner and Project Manager - SPR (Special Product Request). During his tenure at Lexmark, he took on various roles and responsibilities, including working with global customers to understand, deliver, and manage their special needs. He also acted as a liaison between MAC, Unix, Linux, and Chrome, coordinating OS-related issues with Apple, Google, and Linux distributors with regards to driver development. Aveek is an experienced C++ developer and has worked in areas of scan, print, install, and application development in the printing domain (Windows, MAC, LINUX Platform). Aveek is a highly skilled leader with a strong business and technical background. He specializes in open source, leadership, program management, people management, programming methodologies, and more. He is a public speaker and has shared his knowledge and experience at various events and conferences. Aveek holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology. He also completed his Indian School Certificate Examination in 2002. Aveek's technical skills include infrastructure and he has 16.79 years of relevant experience.
