Avi Chauhan is an Associate Product Manager at Cogoport, with a background in computer science from BITS Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus. He has a natural ability to solve problems by going to the root cause and implementing long-term solutions. Avi enjoys building and following processes, and has experience in app development and backend work. Avi is a team player, having been elected as Hostel Representative in his first year and Vice President for the Council for Student Affairs in his second year. He loves interacting with new people and is always looking to learn something new. In his current role at Cogoport, Avi is working on the Process product and has gained valuable experience in a great work environment with flexible timings. He has also worked on multiple value addition features in the product, including making payments flow smoother based on Authority Documentation control. Prior to Cogoport, Avi worked at Wakeup Technology as an Image Recognition Researcher. He conducted research on the methods, algorithms, and technologies used in image recognition models and designed a basic model with his team. He also trained the model and designed the UI of the web app. Avi's education includes a Bachelor's in Engineering in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which he will complete in December 2021. His tech stack includes product management, research, backend, UI, and web development. With 1.43 years of relevant experience, Avi is eager to continue growing his skills and starting a new career in management.
