Avi Roy is an experienced DevOps Engineer with over 9 years of relevant experience in server administration and configuration. He is skilled in automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible, and is familiar with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps Cloud, Jenkins, and SCM tools like Bitbucket, GitLab, Git, and SVN. Avi is also proficient in binary repository management using Artifactory, and has experience working with ticketing tools such as Jira, Service Now, Remedy 7 & 8. He is knowledgeable in common SCM practices such as branching and code merge, and has managed Git repositories and permissions, including branching and tagging. Currently working at Accenture as a DevOps Engineer, Avi has experience in building and deploying large-scale .Net or Java Web applications with highly available and responsive time using Azure DevOps. He also participated with product teams for defining access restrictions, repository creations, branching strategies, subversion features enablement through hookup scripts, SVN to GIT (Bitbucket) etc. At Corelynx, Avi worked as a Linux Administrator and was responsible for installation, configuration, support, and day-to-day maintenance of Apache web server, Zimbra mail server, Squid proxy servers, DNS servers, FTP server, DHCP servers, DC & ADC servers in 2003 and 2012. Avi holds a degree in Information Technology Management from Venkateshwara Open University. His tech stack includes DevOps, Azure, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Puppet, Web, CI/CD, Java, QA, and SQL.
