Avignan Chatterjee is a highly skilled Tech Lead with over 18 years of experience in Cloud, Distributed Systems, and Networking. Currently working as a Staff Engineer at Nutanix, he has a proven track record of leading and building high-performance teams. Avignan has extensive experience in Networking, Open vSwitch (OVS), multi-tenant cloud networking, and Hyper-converged infrastructure. He has also worked with Private cloud, Cloud networking, and OpenStack at Zerostack. At Aruba, he was responsible for Wireless controllers, IPv6, L3 Mobility, Protocols, Datapath, and Wireless Access points. He has filed multiple patents from Aruba, which are currently awaiting review by USPTO. As a Senior Software Engineer, Avignan has contributed to various parts of the software stack. At Zerostack, he was the first dev engineer in India and helped set up the initial office space in Bangalore, starting from buying hardware to taking a lot of interviews.
