Prior to joining Samsung R&D, Avijit worked as a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology under Dr. Malay Bhattachharya, where he worked on predicting absurd stocks in the stock market using machine learning techniques such as SVM classifier and linear regression. Avijit holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, and has also completed his Class 12th Higher Secondary (CBSE) and Class 10th Senior Secondary (CBSE) from Kendriya Vidyalaya with a perfect 10.0/10.0 CGPA.
