With 12.45 years of relevant experience, he is a proactive individual who is passionate about delivering appropriate levels of security to his clients. In his current role as Manager - Quality Benchmark at Abzooba Inc., Avijit is spearheading end-to-end Information Security functions with a focus on delivering appropriate levels of security. He is leading team members, analyzing and ensuring smooth Info security and compliance operations. He is working with InfoSec head on PCI DSS & ISO 27001:2013 Compliance, conducting Internal ISO 27001:2013 Audit and ascertaining that appropriate security policies, standards & guidelines are in place to mandate protection necessary for the organization. He is also streamlining operation procedures and advising management to adopt modern techniques, which helps the organization to maintain a flawless system. Avijit is a skilled professional with a strong background in conducting Penetration Testing, Internal Gap Analysis, Firewall Review and System & Server Hardening & Review. He is also coordinating for Incident Response and Report Handling, managing the installation, maintenance, planning & conducting Disaster Recovery Drills. He maintains constant awareness of advancements in relevant development technologies and suggests improvement areas. He anticipates business needs / risks and provides appropriate solutions for clients. He identifies the team’s training & development needs and conducts appropriate training programs. Avijit holds an M.C.A degree from West Bengal University of Technology and a PGDBA in Operation Management from Symbiosis. He has worked with Abzooba Inc. and Denave India Pvt. Ltd in the past. At Abzooba Inc., he was a Senior QA Engineer and was primarily responsible for Project Participation for testing function. At Denave India Pvt. Ltd, he was a QA Engineer. Avijit's tech stack includes test, qa, and integration. He is a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about information security and compliance.
