Avikant Srivastava is a pre-final year student and a fast-paced machine learning programmer with research-oriented thinking and aptitude. He is currently working as a Lead at glug mvit and has 1.28 years of relevant experience. Avikant's interests lie in data analytics and core computer vision. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in ML, Computer Vision, AWS, Text Classification, Software Engineering, Flask, AI, and Microservices. In the past, Avikant has worked as a Software Developer Intern at HackerRank and as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Qorefi. At Qorefi, he built data pipelines, Flask APIs, AI-based models with production-ready code. He also worked on AWS S3 and EC2 instances for deployment and used AWS boto3 within the project. Avikant has also worked on the extraction of tabular data from images, built a REST API for time-series forecasting and prediction cash flow, and implemented LSTM based text classification model for document classification. He has made an API gateway for the text classification model based on Flask to handle requests from microservice. Avikant has also worked on a Rule Engine to compute credit score and made an API around it. He generated synthetic finance data for forecasting models. Avikant has pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Visvesvaraya Technological University, which he is expected to complete in 2022.
