Avinash Jaiswal is a skilled Software Engineer with over 13 years of relevant experience in the industry. Currently, he works at Google as a Software Engineer, where he is responsible for building the next generation of Google Assistant. Previously, he worked at Microsoft as an SDE for the Bing Ads team in Bellevue. In this role, he designed and developed the data infrastructure required to analyze terabytes of data generated by Bing Ads system. Avinash has gained a lot of expertise in optimizing query performance in large scale databases and also presented his work at Microsoft Ignite, 2018. Avinash's technical expertise includes C#, Dot Net, Distributed ETL, Azure SQL, COSMOS, SCOPE, and SSAS. He is also interested in NoSQL Dbs., Columnstore Indexes, Azure SQL DW, In-Memory OLTP, Data Analytics & Machine Learning. Avinash has worked on several projects during his tenure at Microsoft, including driving database performance optimization, migrating to SQL Azure from on-premise SQL Server, and developing a data provider service using C# and .NET framework. He also developed a logging framework to assist in debugging and measuring system performance. Avinash has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from West Bengal University of Technology.
