Avinash Jha is a Data Engineer with a passion for playing around with different tables, databases, and programming languages. He graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad with a Bachelor's in Information Technology. Avinash has over four years of experience working as an Associate Consultant at Icon Resources, where he handled multiple crucial end-to-end projects from requirement gathering to final production deployment and support. He learned to handle large data sets to help his clients present new business propositions. Avinash's desire to become a Data Scientist led him to enroll in a DSC course at Springboard, where he was mentored by some of the best DS in the industry. He gained hands-on experience by working on different datasets and learned new skills and faced some new and challenging concepts. Avinash is now looking to work in a company that can help him gain experience and work in a team where he can learn from the best. Avinash's skills set includes Data Engineering, Statistics, and Machine Learning. He has experience in Data Wrangling, Data Exploration, Exploratory Data Analysis, Data Cleaning, Data Preprocessing, Data Modeling, and Data Visualization. He is well-versed in Descriptive Statistics and Inferential Statistics and has expertise in Supervised and Unsupervised Learning. Avinash has worked with Linear Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forest, K-Nearest Neighbours (KNN), and Logistic Regression for Supervised Learning and K-Means Clustering and Principal Component Analysis for Unsupervised Learning. Avinash has additional experience working with IBM Planning Analytics, IBM Perspectives, IBM Planning Analytics Workspace, IBM Performance Modeler, IBM Cognos Configuration, and Microsoft Office. He is proficient in SQL, ML, Python, and has experience in research and development as a Data Scientist. Apart from his technical skills, Avinash has excellent communication and client handling skills. He has experience in client management and has worked with clients from all over the globe. Avinash is a team player and is always willing to learn from his colleagues. In his free time, he enjoys dancing and has been appointed as the head coordinator of the dance society at IIIT-Allahabad.
