Avinash Kumar is a software engineer with a passion for learning and a drive for improvement. With over 8 years of relevant experience in core Java, J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Batch, Hibernate, and CRON Job Scheduling, he has also been exposed to big data technologies such as Hadoop MapRed, HDFS, HBase, Apache Storm, ScalaTest, Apache Kafka, Avro, and NRT process. Avinash has worked with various companies such as JPMorgan, Sapiens, Aris Global, Cerner, and currently works as a Senior Software Development Engineer at Boeing. He has been involved in web-based/enterprise application development in the retail domain as well as big data development in the healthcare domain. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Data Science in Applied Mathematics at Stevens Institute of Technology, which will further enhance his skills and knowledge in the field. His educational background in Computer Science has imbued him with a habit of learning, utilizing, and contributing his knowledge for the enhancement and advancement of society. Avinash is a team player and a learner who believes in everyday improvement. He is passionate about finding new ways to solve problems and sharing his knowledge with others.
