Avinash Mathur is a seasoned consultant in the telecommunications and digital industry with over 22 years of relevant experience. He has successfully managed and grown strong telecom brands across both enterprise and consumer segments. Avinash has extensive experience in overseeing country operations, business, and techno-commercial functions for telecom vendors, as well as wireline and wireless telecommunications service providers across the UK, Continental Europe, Middle East, India, and South Asia. Avinash's recent work focuses on digitization, commercialization, and go-to-market strategies for tech ecosystems reliant on VoLTE, VoWiFi, IoT, Cloud, Broadband, and OTT, 4G, and he is currently evangelizing 5G ecosystems. He is currently working as a consultant at Tech Mahindra, where he assists Telcos in Nordics and the rest of Europe with their digital transformation initiatives. In his past roles, Avinash has worked as a consultant, investor, and startup mentor, consulting B2B enterprises and startups in India, MENA, and Europe to refine their product proposition, create focused GTM plans, and acquire B2B customers. He has also worked with select startups in the ICT domain across Europe, MENA, and India, focusing on IoT, Cloud, and Mobile, especially digitalization and 5G applications. Avinash has also served as a consultant and Vice President at Robi Axiata Limited, part of the Axiata Group, where he was responsible for building 4G capabilities and end-to-end data and devices ecosystem to drive Robi's 4G market leadership. Robi Axiata is the #2 operator in Bangladesh, where all operators have diverse 4G capabilities, and Avinash played a crucial role in launching 4G in early 2018, making Robi Axiata the #1 in 4G customers, usage, and revenue. Avinash holds an MBA in Marketing Management and Financial Management from the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon, a Certificate in Contract Law from Harvard Law School, a B Tech in Engineering from M.B.M. Engineering College, Jodhpur, and completed his CBSE XII from MPS Jaipur. He has a strong tech stack in mobile and is well-versed in the latest advancements in the telecommunications and digital industry.
