Avinash Ramakanth is a highly experienced Co-Founder and Head of Engineering at Bright Money, an Artificial Intelligence FinTech company based in San Francisco and Bangalore. With a team of 25 driven individuals, Avinash and his team are building a unique consumer product for the global market, with product and tech teams in India. Avinash has an impressive background in computer science and mathematics, having completed his M.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science and a combined M.Sc. in Mathematics and B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Prior to co-founding Bright Money, Avinash worked as a Tech Lead at InMobi, where he gained valuable experience in mobile development and senior software engineering. He also worked as a Research Student at the Video Analytics Lab at the Indian Institute of Science, where he developed novel algorithms in computer vision. Avinash is a seasoned professional with over 8 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is highly skilled in machine learning, computer vision, and research science, making him a valuable asset to the Bright Money team. Under Avinash's leadership, Bright Money has raised significant funding from 3 venture capital investors and 34 angel investors in San Francisco, Bangalore, Singapore, and London.
