Avinash Shenwall is an experienced AMS Operations Engineer II at Amazon with over 11 years of relevant experience in the field of infrastructure management. He specializes in the installation, configuration, and management of Linux servers in RHEL 5/6/7, along with virtualization. Avinash has hands-on experience in cloud technology, specifically AWS, including EC2, RDS, Load Balancing, AutoScaling, S3, IAM, Security Group, EBS, VPC, Cloud Watch, and well-architected frameworks. He is skilled in virtualization using VMware, automation tools such as Puppet and Ansible, and containerization using Kubernetes and Jenkins. Avinash has also worked with Veritas clusters, MySQL, Oracle, TCP/IP protocols, and LAN and WAN networking. In his current role, Avinash is responsible for setting up and maintaining AWS infrastructure for enterprise customers who lack the manpower and technical expertise required for managing their cloud infrastructure. He works on day-to-day customer requests, including configuring services like ELB, ASGs, IAM roles and policies, CFN stack deployment, EFS, Storage Gateway, S3, and lifecycle policies, using change management processes. Avinash provides support for the underlying OS, involving Amazon Linux, RHEL, and Windows OS of the EC2 instances provisioned for the customers. He troubleshoots issues over calls with customers related to AWS cloud platform, Linux, Windows, and networking. Avinash also deploys monitoring services like Cloud Watch and Guard Duty on customer environments and performs migration from customer On-Premises environment to AWS Cloud through Cloud endure Service. Before joining Amazon, Avinash worked as an Infra Team Lead at AIS (Applied Information Sciences) and Infra Technical Team Lead at BNY Mellon. He holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from PTU and completed his non-medical education from HMS Dadour.
