Avinash Singh is a Lead SDET at S&P Global Market Intelligence with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field of Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. He has a strong background in producing actionable and compelling data insights based on business intelligence, data analysis, and automated processes to inform business leaders and support strategic decision making. Avinash is an expert in utilizing, designing, and implementing data-driven solutions for business insights. He has expertise in Data Visualization using Tableau, Power BI, ETL, and data management using Pandas, analyzing large data sets, and large-scale database designing using SQL. He has significant quantitative/statistical analysis experience using R programming and is passionate about advancing insights/analytics maturity to drive business value. Avinash has strong communication, presentation, storytelling, and project management skills. He is experienced in ETL and Data warehouse Testing and is currently working in the Data Engineering and Ingestion Team for different data pipelines and API Creation. He is responsible for deploying and testing various APIs for front-end customers and the MI Products. In the past, Avinash has worked as a Senior Software Development in Test in the Marketing Technology Team at S&P Global, where he was involved in working in the Agile sprint related to data warehouse change and incorporating new enhancements. He has also worked as a Senior ETL Test Engineer in the BI Team of j2global, where he managed their data warehouse to migrate data and do data analysis on their Big Data system with Hadoop, pig, hive. He was also involved in creating an automated tool to fulfill complex tasks using python and its packages. Avinash holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science & Technology (SVIST) and a Higher Secondary degree in Science from Shree Jain Vidyalaya.
