Prior to founding herb it, Avishek was the Founder of taxi2ride, a platform that standardized the outstation cab space in Odisha. He created a network of cab owners, travel agents and hotels, and built a B2B2C model that helped returning cabs find customers. Avishek's purpose was to make one-way travel more affordable, reduce the uncertainty for cab drivers, and provide travel agents and hotels with leads. He successfully built a full-stack platform that filled the loopholes in the market and helped customers save up to 70% of their old charges. Avishek also has experience working with OYO, where he served as a Business Development professional. He has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering, with a degree from the School of Mechanical Engineering at KIIT. He also holds a degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from XLRI.
