Ayan Ghosh is an Assistant Software Engineer at CRIS, an autonomous society under the Ministry of Indian Railways. He is a gold medalist in Mobile Computing from Jadavpur University and has completed his bachelor's in Computer Science from IIEST Shibpur. Ayan's past work experience includes being a Subject Matter Expert at Chegg and a Summer Training and Internship in Applied Machine Learning and Data Science at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. At IIT Kanpur, he enhanced his knowledge in Data wrangling, Python, and storytelling with data through a combination of online training and advanced internship. He also learned about the basics of Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and NLP along with Computer Vision toolboxes. Ayan's key project during his internship was Twitter Sentiment Analysis, where he predicted the sentiment of tweets as positive, negative, or neutral using Machine Learning algorithms like Naive Bayes and SVM. He achieved an accuracy score of 83% using Naive Bayes Classifier (NLTK) during the model training and an F1 score of 0.6503 in the Kaggle Competition as the final result. Ayan is currently working as a Subject Matter Expert at Bartleby, where he specializes in Mathematics. He is now looking for full-time opportunities in the Data Analytics domain in a reputed organization, where he can utilize his knowledge and skills to achieve better results for the organization as well as to develop his career.
