Ayush Garg is a seasoned Senior Software Engineer with a passion for solving high-impact problems using code, data, and statistics. Currently working with Uber, Ayush is responsible for NLP and SOTA language models, as well as backend development. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Ayush has a diverse background in software engineering, ML, NLP, and data science. Prior to joining Uber, Ayush worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Grab, where he was responsible for end-to-end ML model training and productionization. He served multiple real-time ML models on Docker and as ONNX, built Spark data pipelines on Apache Airflow, and trained various graph, sequence, ensemble, and anomaly detection models. Ayush holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, with an expected graduation year of 2024. Ayush's technical skills include software engineering, ML, language models, NLP, data science, research science, backend development, Spark, Apache Airflow, and Docker.
