Ayush Jain is a highly skilled Software Engineer and Data Scientist with over 3 years of professional experience. He holds a degree in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, and has a passion for science, technology, and travel. Currently, Ayush is a part of the Data Science team at ShareChat, where he is responsible for solving complex problems related to providing relevant feed recommendations to over 160 million monthly active users. Prior to his current role, Ayush worked at OYO, where he designed and developed software solutions for problems in the Fintech space, using technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Java, Apache Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Sidekiq. He has also worked as a Data Science Intern at Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, where he implemented information retrieval techniques in Python to build a Search Engine to be used by Engineers and Scientists in LIGO observatories around the world. Ayush has multiple personal projects related to Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, and Recommender Systems, which he has documented extensively on his GitHub profile. His technical expertise includes skills in software engineering, data science, information retrieval, ML, Ruby, Redis, Kafka, search, Python, and Java.
