Ayush Jain is a software engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He is currently working at Amazon as an SDE, where he is responsible for managing and developing their product 'Toppr Learn'. Ayush has also integrated OCR and Elasticsearch in the teacher's panel, helping them to search student's doubts via image much faster, thus reducing the doubt answering time by 40%. Prior to joining Amazon, Ayush worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Hello English, where he was responsible for managing and scaling their multilingual Edtech product. He designed and built an in-house A/B testing platform and worked directly with the product team, learning and providing strategy related to product designing and decision making. Ayush also introduced and set up the pipelines for protocol buffers and object serialization and developed mechanisms for different caching algorithms to reduce database calls over Redis and Memcached. Ayush's experience also includes working as a Software Engineering Intern at CultureAlley, where he built a speech recognition/grading application and implemented it on Android. He also integrated a VoIP application module on Android and designed an application to cluster and segregate audio files based on text, pronunciation, pitch, etc using multiple data mining algorithms. Ayush holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from Galgotia's College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida. His tech stack includes expertise in software engineering, Elasticsearch, search, test, Redis, and Android. Aside from his job, Ayush is currently helping in bringing more visibility to the new launched D2C brands. He believes that while he was built for leisure sports, not for code, his passion for technology and innovation has driven him to excel in his career as a software engineer.
