Ayush Kumar is a talented and innovative Software Engineer with a passion for coding and a keen interest in Deep Learning and Data Science. He is a graduate of BITS Pilani, where he majored in Computer Science and Physics. Currently, Ayush is working as a Software Engineer at PayPal, where he is involved in developing cutting-edge software solutions for the company. Before joining PayPal, Ayush worked as a Software Engineer Intern at the same company, where he was part of the Compliance team. He was involved in developing the Mapper Framework for POJO to POJO Mapping using Spring. This mapper is low code and externally configurable, reducing boilerplate code and increasing developer productivity. Ayush's work on this project earned him recognition as a winner of the Social Innovation Project, an event conducted for All-India interns to promote financial literacy. Ayush also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at BITS Pilani, where he used SOTA algorithms for managing traffic signals. He used CityFlow and SUMO to simulate the Manhattan traffic dataset, which has over 2510 intersections, using the CoLight approach. His project idea was pitched to AUGSD, BITS Pilani, and he received funding of INR 50k. Ayush's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering and an MSc in Physics, both from BITS Pilani. He also has a background in Science from Adarsh Gyanodaya, Patna, and Matriculation from St. Michael's High School in India. Ayush's technical skills include Software Engineering, Deep Learning, Data Science, Research Science, and Spring.
