Ayush Kumar is a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for building scalable and well-architected systems. He is currently working at eka.care, where he takes ownership of applications and ensures their performance and enhancements. Ayush collaborates with stakeholders to ensure that features are delivered on client-side apps, and he is currently working on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission's ABHA integration to enable digitization of medical records and their consent-based sharing. Ayush is also working on a messaging platform that enables sending messages to all users via various channels at scale, as well as on the centralized platform that powers the entire homepage of client apps (android, iOS). He has extensive experience with AWS, including Lambda, EC2, DynamoDB, Eventbridge, API Gateway, Redis, RDBMS(SQL), and Redash. Ayush is also proficient in Golang. Before joining eka.care, Ayush worked at tiaa as a software developer. He worked on authentication and authorization of users, redesigned a critical decision-making legacy API, and improved performance by double. Ayush also architected an internal app that saves ~100 hrs of the team monthly and thousands of dollars for the org annually in licensing costs. He delivered a tech talk, established a baseline process for deploying NodeJS apps on Openshift via Docker and Jenkins, and created Splunk Dashboards to make the job easier for the team. Ayush also worked on a skills management application. Ayush's past experience also includes working at igs recruiting solutions as a web application developer intern, where he worked on the existing company product and added new features to it. He gained knowledge and experience in JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap, and databases. Ayush holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has won several awards and accomplishments, including Quarterly Individual Award (Q4 2020), Dream Team award (2020), Rockstar Awards (May 2019, July 2020, Nov 2020), and Winner of TIAA Hackathon (2019).
