Ayush Parashar is a highly experienced technologist with a passion for generating value out of big data. He has a deep expertise in product development and enterprise customer implementations, and is currently serving as the Vice President of Engineering at Boomi, where he provides engineering leadership for Data Catalog & Preparation (DCP). Ayush has a diverse range of areas of expertise and interest, including self-service data preparation, data cataloging and discovery, data governance, architecting big data solutions, Hadoop, MPP Databases & Systems, software engineering (developing web apps), data integration, performance engineering, BI, analytics, Amazon Web Services, and SaaS. He also has a keen interest in computer vision, pattern recognition, and image processing. With almost 19 years of relevant experience, Ayush has held leadership positions in several companies, including serving as Co-Founder & VP Engineering at Unifi Software, which was later acquired by Dell Boomi. He has also served as a Member of the Advisory Board for the Computer Science & Engineering Department at USF. Ayush has a strong educational background, with an MS in Computer Science from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from VJTI. His tech stack includes big data, AI, computer vision, image processing, Hadoop, integration, web, and senior software engineering.
