Ayush Shah is a skilled Software Engineer with a passion for applying Artificial Intelligence to solve real-world problems. He recently completed his MSc in Computer Science with merit from the University of Oxford, where he demonstrated the efficacy of applying Logically Constrained Reinforcement Learning for safe automotive perception in self-driving cars. Currently, he works at PolyAI, where he is building enterprise-ready voice assistants. Ayush has a diverse range of experience in the field of AI. During his time at IBM-Research, he focused on tackling challenges in education using AI. He built a chat-based medical school tutor in collaboration with NTU Singapore to teach disease diagnosis, and designed a novel NLP-driven system for Sesame Workshop to generate content at scale for early childhood education. He has also used Deep Learning in the field of security and privacy, where he designed and implemented a system for finding Google Chrome extensions that spy on users during his bachelor's thesis at IIIT-Delhi. Ayush has a strong academic background in Computer Science, having completed his B.Tech. Hons. in Computer Science from IIIT Delhi. He has a wide range of technical skills including Software Engineering, AI, Reinforcement Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Research Scientist. With 1.28 years of relevant experience, his goal has always been to utilize AI for the betterment of society.
