Ayush Sharma is an ambitious engineer currently pursuing his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He is interested in designing and condition monitoring and is also passionate about staying fit. Ayush is currently working as a team member in the aerodynamics division at IITRMS, where his work involves designing aerodynamic devices for cars while keeping in touch with other team members about how their work could influence his design. Ayush's passion for research and development has led him to work as a Summer Research Intern at Brandenburg University of Technology, where he underwent training funded by DAAD WISE scholarship. The aim of the project was to develop a methodology for the optimization of inner mass core in jet turbine blades using topology optimization tools in software like ANSYS and Hyperworks. His work involved vigorous research in the area of topology optimization, finding out the things to be followed simultaneously and afterwards of that to achieve the best-optimized shape complying with given specification limits placed on critical factors like stress, displacement, etc., and trying different possible combinations of objectives and constraints placed on the optimization setup during topology optimization to get the best option. Ayush has also gained practical experience during his summer training at E&M Department of Delhi Metro in 2017, where he learned about Environmental control systems, including centralized air-conditioning, fire system, hydraulics, TVS, BMS, and SCADA systems. This experience gave him more insight into the job field. Ayush's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, which he will complete in December 2019. He has a relevant experience of 8.36 years as a Research Scientist.
