Ayush Verma is a Software Engineer at Google with over 6 years of relevant experience in the field. He is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software systems that are critical to Google's operations. Ayush has a strong background in backend development using Python, Flask, and MySQL. Before joining Google, Ayush worked as a Platform Engineer at Directi, where he was a part of the small team responsible for building the Video Ads division. His work involved enhancing the scalability, modularity, and reusability of the codebase, as well as building tools to extend the functionalities of the backend. Ayush was also responsible for building an Access Management tool for managing access of business partners to different categories of ad creatives. He refactored the codebase into a loosely coupled architecture, separating business logic, video player, and adPlugin, making it easier to use video player and adPlugin as extensions. Ayush started his career as an intern at Flipkart, where he built a tool to categorize delivery feedback into positive, negative, and neutral categories using the NBSVM algorithm. He also developed a website using Python (Flask framework) that displays feedback at hub-level, city-level, and zonal-level, providing ranks for hubs and agents, comparing hubs, agents, state, city, etc., based on the percentage and type of feedback received. Ayush used libraries such as Jquery, Liblinear, LibSVM, and NLTK, and RDBMS such as MySQL. Ayush holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT Allahabad).
