Azhar Zafar is a self-motivated and proactive Software Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience in the industry. He has a "Can Do Attitude" which is the core of his personality and work ethics. Azhar has worked with various technologies and tools to solve complex problems for clients and deliver solutions that add business value. Currently working as a Software Engineer at Kwanso, a design and development consultancy, Azhar is responsible for developing the Webinars module for education and promotions, architecting and implementing Salesforce integration flow from REST APIs to Webhooks, integrating intercom engineer the help-centered module, translating UI designs into high-quality React components, and recognising technical standards for modern development practices for React. His tech stack includes React, Nodejs, Express, JavaScript, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and Redis. Previously, Azhar worked as a Software Engineer at dvmelite, where he developed the Rewards system for practices and implemented the whole Rewards dashboard, created several components specific to reporting including charts created using AMCharts, improved the UI of the overall product, and implemented logging system (AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail) and encryption to ensure HIPAA Compliance. At public health engineering department, Azhar developed the internal automated tools used by the department team, converted a jQuery based front-end website to React application, architected and implemented the whole backend system using Nodejs/Express and MySQL, maintained Legacy full-stack project in jQuery and PHP, created several React Components specific to reporting including charts created using D3.js, and led the project from ideation to development to deployment. Azhar holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Lancaster University.
