Azitabh Ajit is a seasoned Director of Engineering with over 10 years of experience in building scalable software across e-commerce and real estate. He is currently managing and mentoring a high-performance team of 25+ people at ShareChat, consisting of the top talent in the industry across various skill sets including BE, FE, ML, and QA. Azitabh is responsible for building, nurturing, and retaining the team, and has successfully built a team culture that works for startups. Prior to ShareChat, Azitabh was the Head of Engineering at Brightchamps and the Director of Engineering at Housing. At Housing, he managed the entire platform that supported over 250M HTTP requests per day. With his extensive experience in managing and leading teams, Azitabh has developed a deep understanding of building and scaling software products. Azitabh holds a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, where he was trained to think critically and solve complex problems. He has also honed his skills as a Senior Software Engineer, QA, and ML, making him a well-rounded engineering leader. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Azitabh has a proven track record of delivering results and driving growth.
