Babloo Kumar is a BigData and AI enthusiast with over 3 years of industrial experience in developing BigData and AI-based applications. He has hands-on experience in Spark, Hadoop, NoSQL, AWS and Microservices. Babloo is also a research scientist with 2 years of experience in machine learning and deep learning. His passion lies in working at the intersection of BigData and AI, and he is determined to solve the problem of Large Scale Machine Learning. Currently, Babloo works as a Software Engineer at Informatica, where he is a contributor to the data pipeline of Customer 360i, Informatica's AI-powered Master Data Management product. He has designed and developed an insights framework for analytics, which leverages PySpark UDFs to plug-in any ML inference model. Babloo is also a part of the team owning matching service for MDM SaaS, which uses both the declarative and ML approaches for entity matching. He is well-versed in the end-to-end techstacks of microservice architecture, from local development to unit/integration testing to CI/CD to deployment on EKS. Babloo's past experiences include working as a Research Intern at Laboratoire ICube, where he worked on the problem of joint deformation estimation and change detection in MRI using optical flow and graph-cut optimization. He has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, where he taught Computer Programming and Computer Graphics. Babloo holds a B.Tech. + M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, and a Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) Stream degree from S.M. Arya Public School, New Delhi.
