Babul Pegu is a final-year undergraduate student enrolled in the dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) program of the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. He hails from Majuli Island, Assam, India, and has a strong passion for contributing to society. Babul is a risk-taker who manages his academics while providing free quality education to village students. Babul is an aspiring product manager with a focus on business analytics and machine learning. He is currently working as a Product Management and Product Analytics Trainee at Doremon Den. In the past, he has interned as a Product Management Intern at TradePenetrate, where he worked on building an app and various no-code tools to assist the team in building an MVP. He also assisted the founder in iterating and pivoting on product matters and measuring product performance. Babul has worked on various product, back-end, and front-end aspects, finding creative ways to interlink and deal with qualitative and quantitative data. Apart from his work experience, Babul has a strong educational background. He completed his Higher Secondary education from Jorhat Govt. Boys' H.S & M.P School, Assam, in the Science Stream. He also completed his HSLC (State Board) from Jengraimukh High School, Majuli Island, Assam. Babul has a degree in Dual Degree (Bachelor's + Master's) in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, where he is expected to graduate in 2023. Babul's technical skills include product management, machine learning, product design, frontend and backend development, and Python. He is currently looking for full-time opportunities in Product Management, Business Analysis, and Consultancy. Babul's relevant experience in the industry is 0.26 years, and he is eager to learn and grow in his career.
