Baidyanath Prasad is an experienced software engineer with a passion for problem-solving using cutting-edge technologies. With over 7 years of experience in the internet industry, he has worked on a variety of projects and has developed expertise in Java/Kotlin, RxJava, Python, C++, NodeJs, PHP, and many other technologies. Baidyanath holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology (IT) from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad. He is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at InMobi, where he is building the backend for the next generation AI-driven experience for smart TV users called GlanceTV. Prior to joining InMobi, Baidyanath worked at HomeLane as a Senior Software Engineer. During his time there, he was part of a core team that developed "SpaceCraft-Pro & Lite," a virtual 3D design and visualization tool for interior design. He took ownership of complete woodwork w.r.t Design to Manufacturing (D2M) initiatives, which reduced the time taken between design to manufacturing from 7-8 days to a few hours. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, this initiative increased total revenue growth by ~16% and gave a solid path for profitability. He also worked on various backend services that gave power to SpaceCraft and played an active role in hiring, team-building, process improvements, and worked as a sprint champion on various tracks/initiatives. Before his role as a Senior Software Engineer at HomeLane, Baidyanath worked as a Software Engineer where he took initiative in App to Web migrations, refactored SpaceCraft backend, and transformed it into microservices architecture for achieving scaling and reliability. He also built the Asset Platform from scratch, which is the backbone of SpaceCraft.
