Baijnath Singh is an experienced Software Engineer with over 12 years of experience in the computer networking industry. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Cisco, where he is primarily assigned to work on multicast-related assignments. Baijnath has a strong background in Distributed System & Design Pattern, Embedded System, Azure, GoLang, C, Core Java, OOP, Linux, Internet Of Things, Cisco NXOS, TCP/IP, and Multicast Networking. In his current role, Baijnath is responsible for fixing QA/customer bugs and feature development for the Cisco Nexus®3500 Series Data center Switches. He has worked on complex defects, features, deployment of complete multicast PI code to Monticello platform, and bringing up mcast on new platforms. Baijnath has also worked on Cisco Broadcom ASIC, which is being used in Nexus3000 series switches. He has implemented multicast Service Reflect feature and has come across several real-time multicast issues/features. Prior to Cisco, Baijnath worked as a Software Engineer at Juniper Networks and IP Infusion. At Juniper Networks, he was responsible for Multicast snooping specific feature development, internal/customer defects fixing, writing unit test/functional test cases, writing code for required API’s functions/Module, and fixing raised bugs for multicast snooping. At IP Infusion, Baijnath was responsible for ERD for feature implementation, modification of existing CLIs, writing code to implement the Customer specific feature of IGMP, writing unit test/functional test cases, and fixing raised bugs/issues for IGMP, PIM SM/DM. Baijnath holds a Master's degree in Post Graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same institute. He has a strong tech stack that includes Software Engineering, testing, QA, Azure, infra, Golang, and Java.
