Bala N is an experienced Lead Engineer, Sr at Qualcomm India with over 8 years of relevant experience in the field of wireless communication. He is currently working in the WLAN HAL/PHY Software testing team, where he is responsible for testing the RF performance of different Qualcomm WLAN Chipsets with different MSMs. Bala is well-versed in measuring the WLAN Transmitter and Receiver KPIs such as Tx power, EVM, Lo leakage, Frequency error, Receive sensitivity, and RSSI. He has hands-on experience with RF equipment/devices like Vector signal generator, Vector signal analyzer, IQxel-Lite Point, Anritsu, and Power meter. Bala has a strong knowledge of DVT, Iperf, Throughput, RVR measurement, FTM IOCTLS, WLAN protocols, and standards. He is proficient in using Wireless Network Protocol analyzer-Wireshark and has good knowledge of Physical layer technologies like OFDM, MIMO, and Antenna selection methods. Bala has also published research papers in JESTEC (Scopus indexed), IEEE, and IJRET Journals. Prior to his current role, Bala has held senior positions at Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd and Qualcomm. He holds a Master of Technology (MTech) degree in Communication Engineering from VIT and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Narayana Engineering College, JNTUA. Bala has also completed his Intermediate education from Narayana Junior College and his S.S.C from A.P.R BC Boys School.
