Balaji G is a Specialist at Hewlett Packard Enterprise with over 17 years of experience in the Embedded Multimedia domain. He has extensive experience in the development of Platform Drivers for various Onchip peripherals of the Samsung SoC, including GPIO, I2C, UART & SPI. Balaji has worked with RTOS such as STLite/OS20 and Linux. He has also developed Application and Middleware for IRDETO Conditional Access System and for the DVB-S FTA. Balaji has a good knowledge of DVB (ETSI) and MPEG2 Systems Standards. Balaji has experience in Multi-Core Programming on the Silicon Hive’s DSP and has ported Google's Open source video codec (VP8 Encoder & Decoder) on the Multi-Core DSP's. He has worked with Android HAL and Linux Frameworks such as V4L2 and M2M Framework. Balaji has previously worked as a Staff Engineer at Samsung and a Designer Software at Federal Technologies (Flextronics Design CE). He holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics & Instrumentation from Pondicherry Engineering College.
