Balaji Kummari is a technology enthusiast who loves tinkering with different technologies and building full-stack applications. He has launched a couple of startups and learned from his failures. Currently, he is exploring his Ikigai and striving to be the best product guy. Balaji is an action-oriented person with experience in team management, product development, and user experience design. He has been in leadership positions for student-run organizations, early-stage startups, and has received specialized training in venture development methodologies. Balaji's major experiences include co-founding InfiStitch, serving as a HungerHero in FeedingIndia, excelling in WorldSkills2019 at Bangalore & Delhi, and participating in the Startup Husky Challenge at Boston, USA. He is always updated on emerging technologies and keen on exploring the opportunities they create. In particular, he is interested in Augmented Reality, Computer Vision, and Blockchain, realizing their impact on our experiences and interactions, transforming the world from the Information age to the knowledge age. Currently, Balaji is the Head of Technology at nearby news. Previously, he worked as a Product Engineer at Technovert and as a Business Management Intern at Zomato. He has developed modern full-stack applications across multiple projects ranging from web apps in React.js, Next.js, .NET Core, Node.js, and mobile apps in Flutter. He is proficient with Jamstack and Asynchronous, Event-driven, and serverless architectures. Balaji has acquired manageable skills in Azure, AWS, Git, DevOps, and RPA automation systems. He is passionate with outstanding POC building skills across diverse technologies and use cases with the ability to design and develop scalable architectures. Balaji has a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College and a Diploma in Venture Development from Northeastern University.
