Balaji Murugesh is an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in testing L2/L3 and network security products. He has a proven track record of handling teams and working with cross-functional teams, leading QA efforts, and designing, configuring, and maintaining Lab infrastructure. With over 9 years of relevant experience, Balaji is currently serving as a Test Staff Engineer at Sonicwall. In his current role, Balaji is responsible for testing network security products and handling customer escalations by reproducing issues and coordinating with Dev and support teams. Prior to this, he worked as a Software Test Engineer at Sonicwall and Tech Mahindra, where he qualified Cisco and HPE switches and tested the network with medical equipment connected on the network. Balaji's roles and responsibilities include device exploration, topology and network design, functional testing, system testing, verification plan preparation, and traceability matrix. He has extensive experience in building efficient topology design and configuration with QOS, ACLS, MSTP, SNMP, NTP, DHCP, Statics routing, RIPv2, and OSPF. He has also verified the system by connecting all the ICU critical care monitors on the network, performed functional and system verification, defect tracking, and design transfer documentation of the verified results as per GE standards. Balaji has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from S J C Institute of Technology, Chickballapur. He possesses a strong tech stack that includes test, Software Engineer, SDET, qa, and infra. Balaji is a proactive team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. He is passionate about exploring new technologies and is always eager to learn and grow.
