Balaji Somasale is a final year Master's student at Dalhousie University, Canada, with a passion for creating value for people and impacting the world through his work. He has over 2 years of professional experience in the IT industry and is proficient in programming languages like C, Java, and scripting languages like Python and Shell. Balaji has excellent hands-on experience in Linux, CRUD, and real-time operations, and has developed multiple projects with Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers into Amazon Web Services(AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). He has automated scripts using Ansible Modules, built and triggered Jobs using Jenkins and Maven, and collaborated with teams in building Infrastructure as code(IaC) using Terraform. Balaji has very good knowledge of Full-stack development skills, including Spring Framework, REST_API, Micro-Services, Docker, Hibernate, and Angular. Additionally, he has a research paper publication in the domain of Machine Learning & Computer networks. Balaji has worked with Dalhousie University as a Data Specialist and with Cognizant as a Software Engineer. Currently, he is working with RBC as an Information Technology Analyst - Remote. Balaji has completed his Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Amrita University and Intermediate from Sri Chaitanya Junior College, Tirupati. He is pursuing his Master of Engineering - MEng from Dalhousie University and is expected to graduate in May 2023.
