Balaji Venkatesh is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development. Currently working at Google Cloud, he has also held the position of Engineering Team Lead at eden inc. where he built and owned multiple product features including enterprise features, external APIs, and internal tools. As a team lead, he focused on backend development, data modeling, scoping, code quality, user experience, and ensuring customer success. Balaji's core expertise lies in bidding and vendor management features of the 2-sided marketplace and supporting admin tools. He has also worked on inventory tracking, ticketing for office admins, and location model. His internal tools highlights include DSL for feature flag management and code generator for multi-channel notifications. Balaji completed his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar in 2014. He later pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the University of California in 2015. He also holds a High School degree from Kendriya Vidyalaya, CBSE, India.
