Balakrishna Moravineni is a highly motivated and enthusiastic Full-Stack Engineer with a passion for learning new technologies and solving challenging problems in the field of IT and FinTech. With over 2 years of professional experience in complete software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies, he is currently working as a Software Engineer 2 at PayPal, where he is a part of the Compliance - Case Management & Investigation Tools Team. Balakrishna's primary role at PayPal involves working as a Front-end Engineer, providing Customer Centric Insights (CCI) in the form of widgets in enterprise-level web applications. These widgets help Compliance or Risk Investigators make data-driven decisions. He has worked on a Proof of Concept (PoC) related to onboarding of CCI in Simplified Case Management System (SCM), resolved many integration issues, and also uncovered critical bottlenecks affecting the performance of CCI and SCM. Additionally, he has developed dashboards to show FPTI usage metrics of standalone CCI and CCI in SCM using Google BigQuery and Tableau, to help make product-related decisions. Balakrishna has also worked on several projects across domains as part of the Compliance - Regulatory Platform Technology Team at PayPal. He has contributed to UI and Backend web development in the GEO Project, a tool to share user-defined lists across different geos and to synchronize the changes. He has also developed Russia-specific reporting use cases and field level validations in UI for the SAR RU Project, which onboarded Russia Jurisdiction onto SCM for Suspicious Activity Investigations & Reporting (SAR) to regulatory body (CBR). Additionally, he has worked on enhancements to Case File Generation and PoCs on Cryptocurrency related Case Queue changes in SCM, and also CCI onboarding onto SCM, which helped enhance Investigator Experience. Balakrishna has received several Bravos from Project Leads and Teammates as part of the above projects. He has also participated in various learning initiatives and hackathons and worked on side projects in the area of ML-based investigations, Blockchain, and NFTs. Outside of work, Balakrishna enjoys traveling, playing cricket, working out, and watching movies. Balakrishna holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
