Balwant Jassal is an accomplished Software Engineer and Full Stack Developer with over 13 years of experience in the IT industry. He is currently working as a Network-Cum-Programmer at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, Punjab. Balwant has an excellent blend of industrial and teaching experience, which has helped him to develop a unique perspective on software development. Balwant is a highly motivated individual who is always looking for new challenges and learning opportunities. He has a great passion for working on start-up and entrepreneurship projects and has conducted various activities to promote the culture of startups and entrepreneurship among students during his previous role as an Entrepreneurship Coordinator at Lovely Professional University. Balwant has extensive experience in designing and developing new software solutions based on Full Stack technologies, NodeJS, MERN Stack, PHP, Laravel JavaScript, MySql, MongoDB, and E-learning protocols. He is also proficient in SAP and erpnext based solutions. Balwant's research interests lie in the field of machine learning to build applications for the agricultural sector. In his current role at Punjab Agricultural University, Balwant has developed an EPFO-ESI Challan generation and tracking system for managing the university's internal EPF ESI challan handling process. This project has been successfully implemented across the university campus, KVK, and regional research stations. Balwant is also coordinating with other digital India initiatives like Digi Locker and E-Office implementation as an IT expert.
