Balázs Keszthelyi is an experienced R&D Engineer/Leader with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He is currently the Founder of TechnoLynx Ltd, where he offers algorithm R&D, machine learning, parallel optimization, and GPU programming expertise to clients. Balázs is proficient in various technologies such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, computer vision, image classification and synthesis, GANs, CUDA, and OpenCL. Balázs has worked with several companies in the past, including v-nova ltd., where he served as Head of Advanced R&D and Perseus Research Group Lead. During his tenure at v-nova ltd., he led the core R&D activity on the 2nd generation of Perseus Pro (P2) and contributed to the IP generation and capture process, co-inventing 15 EU and international patent applications. He also transformed his research group into a set of agile project teams following Scrum or Scrumban principles and worked 75% remotely, honing skills to provide efficient leadership even from abroad. Balázs holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetem, where he also earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He is a Research Scientist with expertise in ML, Keras, Computer Vision, TensorFlow, PyTorch, AI, and Deep Learning. Balázs is transitioning from a string of full-time engineering/leadership roles into the world of contracting, where he hopes to continue expanding his knowledge at an ever-faster pace, meet and work with fascinating people, and contribute to a string of ambitious, ground-breaking projects. He is a believer in strong teams above all else and wishes to help a number of them flourish. Balázs is looking for part-time, predominantly remote contracts.
